From the HOLY city of Benaras, House of Elegance presents you an Kadhwa Katan Silk saree in Cerise pink silk base with contrasting antique emerald green palla.
The saree is embellished with floral zari motifs spread throughout with an extra wide golden emerald green border adorned with floral jaal. The coordinated emerald green blouse has a floral jaal border on one side.
Weavers called it “Kadhwa” as it is “kadha hua” or “embroidered”. This is one of the finest weaving technique of Benaras, when each motif is woven separately. Each saree is a kind of master piece as it is woven by 2-3 weavers simultaneously and takes 2-5 weeks to weave a saree based on the intricacy of design. Kadhwa is created with extra wefts on top of the base warp fabric with resham or zari wound around hand shuttles, leaving no loose floats or threads on the back of the fabric.
Kadhwa on Katan silk oozes royalty and luxury. Katan is the finest quality of Mulberry Silk in both the warp and the weft, woven in a plain weave.
Cerise pink marinated with golden emerald green embellished with Zari exudes royalty, dignity and eminence to your looks in any wedding ceremony or grand festivals like Diwali, Durga Pooja, Karva Chauth etc.
Note:This saree is certified by "Silk Mark India" assuring 100% natural silk in the base fabric.
