Kadhwa Banarasi Katan Silk Saree
From the HOLY city of Benaras, House of Elegance presents you a melon red katan silk saree with contrasting navy blue border and palla with refined kadhwa work.
Plain melon red kadhwa banarasi katan silk saree is embraced by silvery gold zari buta spread all across with extra broad silvery gold zari border on both the sides.
The coordinated navy blue blouse is a plain handwoven katan silk adorned by zari border.
Weavers called it “Kadhwa” as it is “kadha hua” or “embroidered”. This is one of the finest weaving technique of Benaras, when each motif is woven separately. Each saree is a kind of master piece as it is woven by 2-3 weavers simultaneously and takes 2-5 weeks to weave a saree based on the intricacy of design. Kadhwa is created with extra wefts on top of the base warp fabric with resham or zari wound around hand shuttles, leaving no loose floats or threads on the back of the fabric.
Kadhwa work on katan silk exudes royalty, dignity and eminence to your looks in any wedding ceremony or grand festivals like Diwali, Durga Pooja, Karva Chauth etc.
Note: This saree is certified by "Silk Mark India" assuring 100% natural silk in the base fabric.
