From the HOLY city of Benaras, House of Elegance presents you a Green katan silk saree with contrasting Dark Green border with refined meenakari work.
Plain Sheen Green katan silk saree is embraced by golden silvery zari buta spread all across with extra broad meenakari zari border on one sides. Palla reflects heavy dark green base embossed with golden silvery buti jaal amidst of Meenakari Buta streak.
The coordinated blouse is a plain handwoven katan silk adorned by meenakari zari border.
Weavers called it “Kadhwa” as it is “kadha hua” or “embroidered”. This is one of the finest weaving technique of Benaras, when each motif is woven separately. Each saree is a kind of master piece as it is woven by 2-3 weavers simultaneously and takes 2-5 weeks to weave a saree based on the intricacy of design. Kadhwa is created with extra wefts on top of the base warp fabric with resham or zari wound around hand shuttles, leaving no loose floats or threads on the back of the fabric.
Kadhwa with meenakari on katan silk exudes royalty, dignity and eminence to your looks in any wedding ceremony or grand festivals like Diwali, Durga Pooja, Karva Chauth etc.
