From the HOLY city of Benaras, House of Elegance presents you an Kadhwa Katan Silk saree in Yellow colour silk base with contrasting sky blue border.
The saree is embellished with floral zari motifs spread throughout with an extra wide golden carolina border adorned with floral vine in half and aztec pattern in other half. The coordinated blue blouse is full of small zari bootis with a floral vine border on one side.
Weavers called it “Kadhwa” as it is “kadha hua” or “embroidered”. This is one of the finest weaving technique of Benaras, when each motif is woven separately. Each saree is a kind of master piece as it is woven by 2-3 weavers simultaneously and takes 2-5 weeks to weave a saree based on the intricacy of design.
Kadhwa is created with extra wefts on top of the base warp fabric with resham or zari wound around hand shuttles, leaving no loose floats or threads on the back of the fabric.
Yellow colour marinated with blue embellished with Zari exudes royalty, dignity and eminence to your looks in any wedding ceremony or grand festivals like Diwali, Durga Pooja, Karva Chauth etc.
